Piano Shoot Out! Yes!
Ok, here are two very different songs (from each other I mean). I have recorded them using TruePianos, Pianoteq and Art Vista's Virtual Grand Piano. They are all the same performance, originally recorded in midi and rendered with each synth. A couple of caveats: The songs were actually originally played with TruePianos, which may give TruePianos an advantage since I was to some extent responding to what I was hearing while I was playing. Also, I was using the trial version of Pianoteq, which is misssing a few notes, but they are on the bottom and top of the piano and you probably won't notice - actually "Music Box" doesn't happen to hit any of those notes. "Jen-Liked" hit a couple but they're kinda buried.

I would really love to know what anyone thinks in terms of which pianos they like best - I'd also be happy to get any other kinds of comments. You can post your comments on the Sonar forum (right here: http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=1062996)or even email them to me or on the nothernsounds forum (http://www.northernsounds.com/forum/showthread.php?p=497899#post497899) . Or you don't have to comment at all. It's all good.
Feel free to check out the rest of my website if you like. It's much funnier than anything on this page.
